Setting goals is a powerful way to stay focused and motivated. When we take the time to decide what we want to achieve, break it down into small steps, and check in on our progress, we make our big dreams feel possible. Here are a few pointers when setting goals, have a go at discussing these with your child.

DISCO!
Confirmed Cases of Influenza B!
There have been a few confirmed cases of Influenza B among our students. Influenza B is a common and highly contagious strain of the flu virus. It can cause symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and fatigue. If your child is feeling unwell, especially with flu-like symptoms, we kindly ask that you keep them at home until they are fully recovered. This helps us limit the spread of illness and keep everyone as healthy as possible.
Please continue to encourage regular handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes, and staying home when sick. If you have any concerns about your child’s health, we recommend contacting your GP.
Going to school every day is important for all school aged tamariki (children). It helps build their confidence and social skills, and to achieve their education and life ambitions. This information provided by Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, helps you decide when it is okay to send your child to school, when you should keep your child at home and when you should contact a health professional for advice.
