Unfortunately the slight rise in Covid cases in our school community mentioned last week has increased significantly and is having a big impact on the school. We have quite a few students as well as our staff being affected. We have limited relieving staff available to help cover this issue and we will have to split classrooms up as a result. We would like to ask all families to be extra vigilant about sending students to school who are feeling slightly ill in the morning as we are sending quite a few home during the day.
This week our lower and upper junior students began the Water Skills for Life programme. As part of the lessons they have been exploring water saving objects such as empty milk bottles to act as improvised flotation devices.
