Thanks to everyone for supporting our students throughout a busy term. Today we are celebrating our students who are receiving a Pen Award for displaying a positive attitude towards their learning as well as students who have reached the second tier in our KETE awards for consistently displaying our school values. Congratulations to all of the students receiving an award today.

Looking ahead at next term we have winter sports starting and Life Education will be visiting us again during the middle of the term. 

Please enjoy the break, just a reminder school starts again on Wednesday the 26th of April.

Our values focus is Kindness.

Our school-wide values are explicitly taught in all our classrooms and across a variety of settings.

These value lessons are also supported by our school councillors sharing messages and role-playing at assemblies, as well as value reminders over the school intercom each morning during our daily notices.

When our tamaiki have consistently demonstrated a particular  KETE value and have received a number of KETE tickets for this value, they are awarded either a  K,E,T  or E certificate at our Junior or Senior assemblies.

It was wonderful to celebrate our students displaying their KETE values at our Junior Assembly last Friday.

 

 

Room 15 have been busy making these wonderful creations during their Sea Life unit.

Registrations for soccer and netball have now closed. All players will be emailed their team lists today.
 
Netball Season 2023 Fees                              

Years 1 - 4 programme involves a skill based session with a small sided game to follow. Please note that on the 28th April 2023, the starting time is at 3.30pm but every other Friday will start at 4pm, at the top courts of Otorohanga Netball Courts.  Fees: $30                                                                                                 
Years 5 - 8 play the normal 7 on 7 version of the game. Fees: $45
Payable to the school office or via internet banking by Monday 24th April 2023.

Season will start Friday 28th April 2023

Soccer Season 2023 Fees
Fees: $30 per player

Ikura|Manaakitia te whare tangata is an initiative set up by the Ministry of Education to provide free period products in all state schools across New Zealand.  The main aims of this scheme are to support whānau with the rising cost of living and to make a positive impact on student wellbeing. If you would like to opt into the scheme, please contact the school office. 

 

Many families now choose to spread the cost of the Technology fee as well as the Middle and Senior Syndicate Camps over many months by making small, regular payments to the school bank account via internet banking. These costs will be applied to your child's account early in the year and emailed to you so that you have all of the information on hand. The camp cost is not due until later in the year, but you are welcome to start making payments at any time. If you choose to take up this option, please use your child's name as a reference.
